The collaboration between The Arts Society and the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) came about following a pilot project in East Anglia in 2009.
This year 39 Societies submitted 272 work of original student work including paintings, ceramics and sculpture. The challenge was for the RBA Council members to pick a number of pieces which combined the highest levels of skill, expression and draughtsmanship.
The students - RBA Star Students - will have their selected works shown at the ROSL from the 23rd January- 8th March, Framers Gallery 12th – 17th March, then finally at The Mall Gallery from the 20th -31st March.
